We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and automating our development pipeline, ensuring smooth software deployment, scalability, and reliability of our applications. You will collaborate closely with software developers, QA teams, and IT staff to create and maintain efficient development operations processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, manage, and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure seamless application deployment.
- Cloud Services Management: Manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and security.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog to ensure uptime and performance.
- Automation: Automate routine tasks, deployments, and workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define DevOps best practices, implement new tools, and drive continuous improvement.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure infrastructure and application security by implementing best practices and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, System Administration, or Software Engineering role.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration, networking, and security.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
Preferred:
- Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, especially in cloud environments.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
