Position Summary:
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining processes for deploying large-scale software architectures. In this position, you will utilize tools such as Docker, GitLab, and Ansible to handle the configuration and deployment of software to test and production environments.

Responsibilities:
- Deploy DevSecOps practices for automating the software engineering practices across multiple teams and projects.
- Ensure we have solid, foundational processes in place. The design decisions you will make in this position will have a direct and lasting impact on the success of the entire software team and organization.
- Drive modern software development practices across multiple, agile teams.
- Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and identify key technologies and architecture design patterns used by the team.
- Stand up multiple agile development teams and will oversee the instantiation of DevOps pipelines in both on-prem and cloud environments

Required:
- BS in technical field (preferably Computer Science or Electrical Engineering)
- 12+ yrs in Software Development, Infrastructure Design, or or DevOps
- Proven experience in a senior DevOps role, demonstrating leadership and innovation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools, especially GitLab
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
- Demonstrated proficiency in containerization and orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure and GCP
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must have an active Top Secret security clearance.
Desired:
- 15+ years in Software development in a classified work environment
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, or Kubernetes Administrator.
- Experience with microservices architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD on classified software development networks.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
