Job Description


Join Polarity as a DevOps Engineer and become an integral part of a tight-knit, dynamic team tackling exciting challenges head-on. You'll play a pivotal role in managing automated deployment pipelines and optimizing our AWS infrastructure, ensuring seamless and efficient operations. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with fellow engineers to troubleshoot issues and maintain the highest levels of security and compliance. Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and associated services (specifically App Runner, CloudFormation, CloudFront, EC2, IAM, RDS, Route 53, S3, Systems Manager, and VPC)
  • Experience in SQL and troubleshooting relational databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Comfort in jumping on customer calls and troubleshooting technical deployment issues
  • Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or equivalent)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work both independently and within a team

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency in Docker/Podman and containerized application deployment
  • Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer, or experience with security-focused SaaS platforms
  • Experience implementing security controls across cloud platforms and Linux servers (e.g. NIST 800-53, CIS Level 1/2 Benchmarks, AWS Foundational Security Best Practices)
  • Google Workspace administration experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, NodeJS, or Python
