YPrime is looking for a DevOps Engineer II to join our team. This is a role based in our Malvern, PA or Raleigh, NC office.
Does our mission sound like something you can get behind? If so, here’s what we need from you:
- 3+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a related or equivalent role.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps tools
- Experience building highly available systems, including network configuration and load balancer selection, redundancy, and scalability
- Experience working with a public cloud, preferably Azure
- Experience writing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Bamboo, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with administering Git tools - GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Working knowledge of multiple scripting languages - Powershell, Bash, Python, etc.
- Experience designing mission-critical infrastructure and an ability to document and communicate to others
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code tools - Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Have these things too? Even better!
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field
- Experience with Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Services
- Experience with common middleware, including but not limited to RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with infrastructure and Application Performance Monitoring systems, preferably New Relic
- Working knowledge of SQL, IIS administration, Linux, Windows, and .NET applications

- You will build, design, and support continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
- You will drive technical innovation and efficiency in cloud infrastructure operations via automation
- You will carry out scripting/coding tasks relative to integrating various platforms or services
- You will facilitate after-hours deployment efforts as needed.
- You will open change tickets as needed to facilitate release automation processes
- You will become thoroughly familiar with all compliance and security requirements, adhering to all policies and standards, and adapting to CI/CD platform as needed.
- You will support IRT/eCOA deployments to development, validation, UAT, and production environments
- You'll work with Development teams to review cross-team architecture and ensure common practices and architecture are implemented
- You'll review the use of Azure and ensure resources are used wisely and cost-effective
- You'll mentor less senior-level DevOps professionals and others throughout the organization on DevOps best-practices
- Where possible, you will design and/or automate yourself out of any of the above duties.
