Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Automate the deployment and monitoring of data systems and infrastructure using DevOps best practices.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of data services in production environments.
- Develop and manage cloud-based data storage solutions on platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data in compliance with regulations.
- Continuously optimize data flows and systems for efficiency and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions and data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, particularly within the context of data engineering.
