A Snapshot
As the Development Strategy Analyst you will work closely with the Development team, making your mark in a number of ways:
- Maintain and lead system development and processes for Pre-Flight Development and providing support in developing and enhancing governance and reporting capabilities.
- Manage pipeline and forecast with cross functional alignment, ensuring appropriate details are passed to development stakeholders to manage project expectations
- Complete requests from sales /customer team by managing the development team’s distribution of information to the wider business and for external customers – ensuring the team adheres to the correct governance and process for sign off.
Your Day to Day
- Working with development people managers to ensure appropriate build out of organisational chart into forecast / pipeline projects and subsequently included within CAPEX budgets and business case.
- Leverage your ability to collate and analyse data to maintain and further build out benchmarking data in systems to allow for predictive analytics and forward solutions to streamline pre-flight development workloads.
- Assist in the development of business cases with finance team – ensuring alignment to development team programme and cost agreements and governance process.
- Review lease documents to ensure aligned to agreed development terms and programme before being issues to customers. Ensuring governance and process followed with appropriate sign offs.
- Provide solutions for streamlining processes and systemised data – using your ability to generate dashboards and concise presentations and report to management.
- Attend End to End meetings to ensure understanding of risks and issues within pre-flight development and where appropriate support is required cross functionally within the business. Including risk to programme due to Authorities / Power / Design / Customer / Legal.
- Hold the pen on generating, reviewing, and submitting investment committee papers for future funding requests to ensure project timelines can be adhered to – as discussed in varying forums including like end-to-end programmes, WIPs and pipeline/forecast meetings.
- Work with other teams to ensure we’re getting appropriate and useful data on time to ensure we can best manage team requirements.
- Make use of suitable tools such as Excel / PPT / Smartsheet / Procore / Projects / SQL and Power BI
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a similar role with 4 years + experience ideally from data centres, construction or infrastructure.
- Strong communication, business writing, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to build strong, positive and effective relationships with colleagues and work as part of a team.
- Can proactively communicating with varied stakeholders and synthesize data into reportable format.
- Able to identify trends in data sets, and strong analysis, modelling and numerical skills.
- Ability to process, review, validate and analysis data models.
- High level of competency using excel and Smartsheet software
