Your Responsibilities

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting of our performance against operational and financial targets

  • Lead monthly assessments of the organization’s performance against objectives and serve as the storyteller of this activity, both internally through reports and externally through the earnings announcement process

  • Develop new and enhanced reporting capabilities that will drive decision-making and strategy development

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and deliver continuous improvement for our portfolio management capabilities

  • Identify opportunities for our go-to-market strategy that will allow us to capitalize on and overcome market dynamics

  • Maintain relationships with field associates and industry partners to ensure greatest value delivery and knowledge of competitive landscape

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Management, Marketing, or a related field required

  • At least 4 years’ experience working in Analytics, Finance, Operations, or Strategy functions preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Advanced Excel skills preferred

  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to navigate an organization and work cross-functionally to achieve team goals

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to understand and analyze complex data sets to generate business insights

  • Outstanding problem solving and strategic thinking skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Development Strategy & Analytics. You will have 1 peer teammate and collaborate extensively with cross-functional departments.

Your Work Location

As our Strategy and Analytics Manager, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $98,088.00 to $107,000.00 annually.

The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
