Developer (Power/Gas)

IMC is launching a new power and gas trading business in Århus, Denmark, the hub for power and gas trading in Europe. We are dedicated to creating a strong, independent, Århus-based team with local leadership while drawing on IMC's more than 30 years of global trading expertise.
We are looking for experienced professionals in power and gas trading and technology to join the team.
Your Core Responsibilities:

• Build, as part of a team, a full technology stack that supports power and gas trading, including exchange connectivity, trading systems, trading strategies, data analysis, and pricing. We are looking for both full-stack developers as well as developers specialized in algorithms, trading systems, back-end, execution systems or other relevant domains.
• Maintain and improve the tech stack in collaboration with trading.
• Train new joiners.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Strong academic background, preferably in a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in development to support European power and gas trading.
• Strong programming skills in at least one relevant programming language (e.g. C#, Python, Java, C++).
• Fluency in English.
