UNREAL ENGINE MARKETINGWhat We Do

Unreal Engine is a high-performance software development suite, created by Epic Games, that empowers today’s digital creators to craft real-time, high-fidelity interactive experiences for games, film, TV, VR, architectural visualization, product design, and manufacturing. As part of the Unreal Engine Marketing team, we help develop, manage, measure, and enhance Epic campaigns across multiple verticals and channels.

What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking for a talented, dynamic marketing manager based in Yokohama to lead marketing initiatives for the Unreal Engine ecosystem across Japan with local game studios and developers. This role covers marketing content, campaigns, paid media, and events.

In this role, you will

  • Develop marketing plans to generate awareness and drive the adoption of Unreal Engine and related products in the Japanese market working with local game studios and developers
  • Plan and organize local conferences and events
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to build awareness of the UE ecosystem in the local market
  • Tailor global campaigns to the local Japanese market; manage the localization of campaign messaging, collateral, and other marketing deliverables
  • Partner with the Industry Marketing team to devise, execute, and optimize paid campaigns
  • Elevate social media presence and social campaigns
  • Work together with local vendors for marketing, events, and promotions while managing the budget and KPIs

What we're looking for

  • Partner with the Communications Team to identify local press opportunities
  • Identify and spotlight local success stories in games and other industries such as automotive, fashion, retail, and more
  • Measure the performance of local marketing and community activities and report on results
  • Partner with the Education, Learning, and Training team to expand the adoption of Unreal Engine in educational institutions and by Training Service Providers
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing
  • Experience in the gaming industry is highly desirable
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in Japanese and English
