We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Dev DBA.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who is flexible, adaptable, and able to take on new tasks and responsibilities quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements definition.
- Data modeling.
- Build and maintain database objects required by applications (tables, indexes, views, triggers, functions, procedures, etc.).
- Build and maintain test data.
- Assist with SQL and performance tuning.
- Quality assurance (Efficient SQL statements and index strategy, programming best practices).
- Design and implement a standard testing methodology that includes reporting, measuring and assessing performance results.
- Constant looking for ways to improve system performance.
- Respond to prod database-related app issues and incidents.
- Troubleshooting and solving performance issues.
- Logical database refreshes (schema-based).
- Support governance compliance in non-prod databases (Data redaction).
- Respond to database-related issues and incidents, and help with troubleshooting and solving.
- Change management.
- Incident management.
- Problem management.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
- +2 years of proven experience troubleshooting performance issues and doing sql tuning.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Proficiency in relevant systems and technologies.

Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.
