Desktop Support Specialist
Hall Financial is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hardware and software support, coupled with development skills to enhance our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for Microsoft/IBM computers and hardware
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across various systems
- Manage and support Microsoft applications (Windows 10/11, Outlook, Office 365, SharePoint)
- Configure and maintain network and user profiles
- Support and troubleshoot MFPs and printers
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft environments and hardware troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Office 365, and SharePoint
- Experience with network configurations and user profile management
- Familiarity with MFPs and printer support
Desired Development Skills:
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex spreadsheet creation and function development
- Programming experience in .NET or other relevant languages
- Knowledge of Telecom VOIP support
- Ability to write and implement business rules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate)
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support or similar IT role
