Your Role
As a Gensler Mid-Level Designer in our Phoenix office, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful interior environments for our clients. With you as part of the design team, interiors have never been so engaging.
This is not a remote position. The successful candidate will be expected to live in or relocate to the Phoenix, AZ area.
You must be an integral part of your teams and actively foster a respectful, creative, and inspiring design environment. You should have a great reputation in the design community at large.
What You Will Do

Responsible for the design and delivery of the interior aspects of a project that include programming client needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documentation

Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), material palettes, and lighting

Generate Interior finishes and reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction

Collaborate with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture, from an accredited school

3-6 years of professional experience

Commercial experience required; Workplace and Corporate Interior preferred

Proficient Revit, SketchUp, 3D and other modeling software programs

Knowledge of sustainable and universal design concepts.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications

Strong graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
