HNTB is looking for a motivated individual who is ready to be challenged and work on a variety of design projects, including lighting, traffic signal and ITS design in our growing Mobility group. This opportunity entails being responsible for coordinating project execution and control, in a given discipline area, to achieve continuity of purpose within scope, budget, and time schedules from initial start-up through project closeout. Responsible for assisting in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects. This position performs research, development, calculations, design and delivery in partnership with the project team. Serve as technical liaison with client on project efforts. As a member of the team, you will contribute to the successful project delivery for a diverse range of projects for HNTB’s clients.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements such as reports, designs, specifications, and plans within budget and schedule.
- Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work.
- Utilizes 3D design tools to analyze and mitigate conflicts in project design.
- Assists with project management duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or
- Associate's degree in Drafting or related field and 12 years of relevant experience, or
- In lieu of education, 14 years of related experience
What We Prefer:

Knowledgeable in AGi32 and/or Visual Lighting

Knowledgeable in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
-
Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure
