We are seeking a Digital Verification Engineer on a contract basis to contribute to our verification efforts.
This role is flexible—candidates can be based in the US or Canada, and we are open to remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the verification of Tenstorrent’s digital IP and SoC logic, leveraging advanced verification methodologies.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality, performance, and power efficiency.
- Design and implement UVM-based testbenches, checkers, models, assertions, and coverage metrics.
- Develop C/C++/Python-based tests and simulation environments to validate hardware designs.
- Drive FPGA prototyping and emulation to accelerate pre-silicon validation.
- Analyze and improve verification coverage while optimizing execution for tape-out readiness.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and post-silicon teams to ensure verification closure.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Substantial experience in digital verification, with a strong understanding of SoC and IP verification methodologies.
- Experience with Ethernet, PCIe, and AXI verification.
- Expertise in SystemVerilog (UVM), SystemC, and coverage-driven constrained random verification.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and scripting languages (Python, Perl, Tcl, Bash, Make).
- Experience with functional coverage, assertions, and formal verification techniques.
- Hands-on experience with FPGA prototyping, emulation, or hardware acceleration is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of computer architecture, power/performance verification, and SoC validation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
