Intern must be able to work the entirety of one of the two sessions.
Axos Bank is seeking a Design Research Intern to help us understand the way our customers and users participate in financial activities. This person will be supporting the needs of various business units to deliver insights that drive engagement and improve customer experience in innovative ways.
- The Research Intern will work closely with our research and UX leads to learn and demonstrate their ability before they’re asked to do these tasks on their own. For example, before moderating interviews with users, you’ll take notes while another researcher moderates. The goal is to help the Research Intern become more independent by the end of the internship.
- Research planning: Understanding the problem or question, defining hypotheses, then selecting the best methods to get answers
- Conducting research using a variety of methods
- Qualitative & usability studies: Identifying participant selection criteria, moderating interviews, notetaking during sessions
- Identifying trends out of interviews, analyzing data
- Creating and giving presentations about the findings. Adding research findings to the research backlog
