Sword Health is seeking a motivated Design Operations Specialist to help establish and grow our design and research processes.

As our Design Operations Specialist, you'll play a key role in building our DesignOps and ResearchOps functions. You'll collaborate with our design and research teams, as well as cross-functional partners, to implement workflows, manage tools, and develop processes that enable our designers and researchers to excel in their work.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and maintain design and research processes, repositories, and best practices;
• Manage and optimize tools and software, ensuring they meet team needs;
• Establish and track metrics to measure design team efficiency and impact;
• Support Design leadership with setting up reports on design team performance and impact for executive leadership;
• Capture and monitor actions from review sessions and follow up to ensure timely delivery;
• Coordinate participant recruitment for user research studies;
• Identify areas for growth and cross-training opportunities;
• Work with Design leaders to organize team events that foster Design culture and team bonding;
• Facilitate collaboration between design and other departments.

What you need to have:

• 3-5 years of experience in operation roles within Design and UX research teams;
• Solid understanding of design and UX research processes and methodologies;
• Experience with design and research tools is a plus (e.g., Figma, User Interviews, Condens);
• Knowledge of project management tools and agile methodologies;
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority;
• Experience in or exposure to creating or managing design systems is a plus;
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
