Main Responsabilities
- Support CI projects for Utility Tractors assembly line in Saltillo as part of the ETEC Design Team.
- Be part of the Product Design team within the Enterprise Technology Engineering Center (ETEC) in Satillo/Monterrey, supporting CI projects for Utility Tractors assembly line in Saltillo. Some of the responsibilities are:
- Execute continuous improvement projects including NCCAs, CIUs, Cost Reduction Projects, Warranty resolution, etc.
- Perform structural analyses, line and harness routing improvements.
- Propose cost-effective design solutions.
- Work and support the design and development of multiple tractor systems.
- ETNs integration into tractor production.
- Support new projects implementations and issue resolution @ Saltillo's Factory.
- Participate in Design, Assembly, Production line support, and Functional Geometry Reviews.
- Coordinate with various cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Management, etc.) to ensure that design meets requirements.
What Skills Do You Need
- Proficiency over Creo Parametric Design Software (CAD) and its Routing/Piping modules.
- Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for complex problems or projects of moderate scope.
- Skill in using company information systems and processes.
- Practical experience with product development.
- Knowledge in fundamental manufacturing methods.
- Proficiency over Creo Elements or other Parametric Design Software (CAD).
- Ability to lead projects.
- Fluent on English.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proactive and Strong Drive for Results.
- Have a strong work ethic and a positive team attitude.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Skilled user of Creo Piping/Routing, Drafting, Large Assembly Management, and PDM Windchill.
- Line routing standards knowledge.
- GD&T Knowledge
- 1-2 years of experience in design engineering work.
Education
Mechanical Engineering.
