We are currently seeking an experienced Descript Short Form Video Editor to join our remote team. As a Short Form Video Editor, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented and creative team to produce compelling short form videos for various marketing campaigns. This remote position allows for flexible work hours and the ability to work from anywhere.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and enhance short form videos using the Descript software (Previous experience required)
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and visually appealing video content
- Create and add graphics, animations, and effects to enhance the overall video quality
- Ensure videos are aligned with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in short form video editing
- Work independently to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality videos
- Previous experience as a Descript Short Form Video Editor or similar role
- Proficient in using the Descript software
- Demonstrated expertise in short form video editing and storytelling techniques
- Strong understanding of visual aesthetics, composition, and color grading
- Familiarity with graphic design software and animation tools
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative team
- Ability to work remotely and meet project deadlines
- A strong portfolio demonstrating previous work in short form video editing
- Work as an independent contractor (1099) with the flexibility to set your own hours.
