The Deposit Operations Manager provides leadership and oversight in the daily operations of the Deposit Operations Team; including the functional areas of Item Processing, Card Management, Consumer Online Banking, Business Online Banking, Wire Processing, IRA and HAS Processing, and Quality Control Review.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee daily operations with the Deposit Operations and ensure duties are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure all policies and procedures related to Deposit Operations are kept current
- Coordinate all materials required for Deposit Audits and Compliance Reviews; Ensure corrective action is taken to rectify any findings.
- Ensure all FIS communications relating to Deposit Operations are read and communication of changes occur within the department.
- Participate in FIS subcommittee meetings as necessary
- Coordinate any compliance related changes for Deposit Operations
- Perform employee evaluations and record attendance for employees
- Participate on various project committees as needed
- Participate in various Bank Committees as needed
- Assist with duties within the department as needed
- Backup the Cash Management Team lead
- Backup the Retail Operations Team lead
- Perform any other duties as requested
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid background in bank operations, including retail and back office area. Excellent communication skills, knowledge of word and excel applications
- At least five years experience working as a teller, Branch Management and/or back office environment.
- Minimum Education Level-High School Graduate with practical banking experience. Preferred at least 2 years of College Education.
