Summary Generated by Built In

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

As a Demand Planner within Anduril’s Global Deployments & Planning organization, you will support the development of demand forecasts, data models that inform operational decision making and strategic initiatives that drive towards best practice. As a member of the Demand Planning team, you will partner with teams across the business – from Production and Sales teams to our Tower and Drone teams – to gather and shape demand that informs our hardware delivery requirements.

You are perfect for this role if you have strong technical skills that can translate complex data into actionable insights and thrive influencing cross functional stakeholders.

  • Generate and analyze historical data as necessary to identify trends in demand, shipments, market/customer insights and engineering requirements
  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering to ensure the appropriate data is available and accurate for review at S&OP process meetings
  • Support strategic initiatives that drive toward best practice including demand shaping, advanced modeling techniques, and inventory optimization

  • Demonstrated abilities and/or proven track record of success within a complex industry or consulting environment
  • Prior knowledge of Salesforce or a similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Prior knowledge of NetSuite or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any business or technical field including finance, economics, supply chain management, business administration, marketing, mechanical/aerospace/manufacturing, electrical, or computer engineering
  • You are self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don’t wait on others to solve problems. You proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself
  • You have strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and data-models, and you are able to quickly execute analyses in Excel or SQL
  • You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role can at-times require comms to large groups and senior leadership. This should excite you!

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior knowledge of Blue Yonder or a similar Supply Chain Planning system; developing statistical models to predict demand in a fast paced, high mix, low volume environment.
