Job Description:
We are looking for a Solutions Readiness Manager that will be responsible for managing market strategy, roadmap, feature enablement, certification, and market adoption for McDelivery. McDelivery is an exciting and growing segment of our business. To be successful the Solutions Readiness Manager must develop strong partnerships with global product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to drive desired outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the transformation of McDonald's USA digital footprint amongst millions of people every day.
This role is based at our McDonald's Global Headquarters in Chicago, IL.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Work with a cross functional teams to oversee releases for the US Market from planning through deployment.
- Develop, communicate release updates with various Stakeholders across the US Market Ex. Marketing, Operations, Technology, Legal, etc.
- Building out, maintaining roadmaps, and aligning across US and Global stakeholders
- Collaborate with Global Product Managers across all delivery feature capabilities to align on product delivery.
- Stakeholder management to influence our Digital and Engineering partners.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies across systems and resources.
- Review and prioritize defects impacting customers.
- Serve as a point-person for McDelivery questions and be able to dig deep into problems to help find a solution.
- Work with operators and franchisees to identify enhancement opportunities
- Lead delivery of timely, high-quality, effective features/enhancements/builds for US McDelivery
- Ensure alignment of product roadmaps with US strategy and, where applicable, Global Technology Product roadmaps and vendor roadmaps
- Understand and anticipate operations, crew, customer, and business needs.
- Work closely with peer product managers across all channels and capabilities to prioritize initiatives, identify opportunities for teamwork, and coordinate product development and delivery.
- Guide quality testing and Pilot testing for new product releases and features.
Qualifications:
- Willingness and ability to live the McDonald's values every day: Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community, and Family.
- Minimum of 5 years working in an agile environment, preferably with customer-facing, mobile and digital products.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities successfully.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, often changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and knowledge on how to utilize reporting tools.
- Proven ability to work with and influence cross functional team and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Familiarity with native software development tools and platform standard methodologies.
- Curious and a self-starter with a strong bias for action; Consistent track record of "getting things done".
- Detail-obsessed and able to meet deadlines.
- Expertise in digital project and product planning - including feature/defect prioritization, trade-off processes, roadmap creation and timeline planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer experience in Quick Service Restaurant industry
