Department: Decoration Services

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As Level 1 Operator in the Decoration Service (DS) department, your main role responsibility is to operate machinery used in the production process. In this role you will ensure value added services on customer orders are completed as per customer requests and company standards.

You will be working with a team of Decoration Services Operators as well as Department Team Leaders.
If you were in the Decoration Services Operator role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- You learn and train with a senior operator to understand the standards and processes of the DS department and the operation of at least one machine in the DS department, including but not limited to, heat transfers, embroidery, sewing, etc.
- You read through customer order sheets to identify the services required and bring the operation to completion
- You communicate with your team members and team leader for clarification or discrepancies found in customer order sheets
- You communicate with the Quality Control inspector to ensure DS products fulfill company standards prior to being scanned into the Distribution Centre
- You work closely with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- You follow all safety rules and regulations
- Follow established safety protocols while using equipment such as pallet jacks and lifting boxes
- You may assist with other tasks and projects as assigned

- You continue to gain product knowledge and decoration techniques in order to advance your skill and position (i.e. Level 2 Operator) in the team
