About the role:

As a Research Analyst at Chatham, you will play a vital role in upholding our reputation for accurate, high-quality work, deep market expertise, and attention to detail. You will represent Chatham and be expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism. This position requires strong analytical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for data and research. You will interact daily with colleagues across the organization and present your findings internally. The ideal candidate is curious, driven, and eager to contribute to the growth and evolution of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage internal company data sets and third-party data sources. 
• Query databases. 
• Build dashboards in PowerBI. 
• Contribute to recurring research projects and develop new ad-hoc reports and analyses. 
• Respond to internal requests for customized data and analysis. 
• Identify opportunities to improve data efficiency, usability, and quality. 
• Assist with data intelligence initiatives. 
• Present research findings to internal audiences. 
• Collaborate with team members on various projects. 
• Develop and maintain financial models. 
• Leverage data visualization techniques to communicate insights effectively. 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in an analytical or data management focused role. 
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, Power BI, database management, VBA, and Python. 
• Deep understanding of data and databases. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
• Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work. 
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to contribute to a growing organization. 
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn and adapt. 

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in commercial real estate or institutional investment. 
• Strong writing skills.

For Colorado based candidates, the compensation range for the position is expected to be between $75,000 - $100,000 annually. Total compensation, including base pay, discretionary individual bonus and company bonus, may be higher than range listed, depending on applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401k, EAP, paid holidays and paid time off.
