Job Description
Business Unit:
The Dealing Team are responsible for the execution of all trades for the Firm. Therefore, the team are involved in a broad range of asset classes including: UK equities, international equities, fixed income, derivaties, structured products, exchange traded funds, unit trusts, hedge funds and foreign exchange.
Brief Role Objective:
This role will execute all off-exchange orders and assist the team with on-exchange bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Figaro Front Office trade blotters for EAM trades
- EAM Platform Trading, incepting deals on various EAM provider platforms
- International Equity trade bookings in Figaro Back Office
- Reconcile fixed income trades from broker confirmations
- Bloomberg AIM fund execution and pricing
- Non-LGT EAM pricing in Figaro, contacting EAM providers for confirmations and valuations
- Oversight of model portfolio reweighting via several platforms
- Hedge fund trade aggregation and execution
- Manual unit trust trading and pricing
- Monitor front office errors and stock/cash positions on all error accounts
- Review Daily Crest checking report
- General administrative tasks for the Dealing Team
Requirements
Key Skills and Technical Requirements:
- Experience in an Operations or Trading role
- Good understanding of funds and unit trust structures
- Bloomberg basic user knowledge is desirable
- Figaro experience beneficial but not essential
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, especially excel
- Thorough approach to tasks with excellent attention to detail
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Effective when working individually and in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Strong numerical skills
