Overview:
The regional Deal Desk Manager ensures professional management of project applications from all channels and partners in the systems and solutions business. This role involves evaluating applications according to competition law and partner specialization, cross-referencing with sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce) to make informed decisions on applications, and actively inquiring and researching within the company’s tools if project information is missing. In the event of channel conflicts, the manager moderates between the parties involved. Additionally, the manager supports the development of decision papers for sales managers and possesses strong market knowledge of the German-speaking countries and the DACH region. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring compliance and efficiency in the sales process.
Responsibilities:

Receipt and evaluation of project applications from sales partners.

Communication with partners and direct sales for further information gathering on the project.

Prompt decision on the status of the partner deal application in clear cases.

Moderation of channel conflicts, analysis and evaluation of the situation, and, if necessary, development of decision templates for the next management level.

Completion of existing CRM Salesforce entries and further addition of customer and project data.

Exchanging information and collaborating with regional units, partners, and central functions on ongoing sales activities.

Support for direct sales in partner selection.

Training partners and sales staff on the tools used in CRM Salesforce, competition law, and sales strategy.

Administration of the partner’s CRM Salesforce data records and partner users in collaboration with partner management.

Accepting partner complaints and proposing solutions or forwarding them to the relevant specialist department.

Various reporting in the context of deal registrations and sales operations.
Requirements:

Specialist training with several years of professional experience and extensive further professional training.

Several years of professional experience in the commercial and/or sales area in the ICT system/solutions business.

Knowledge of contract, data protection, competition, and public procurement law.

Experience with direct sales and external sales partners is desirable.

Extensive knowledge of the Mitel/Unify portfolio.

Experience working with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and MS Office.

Understanding of internal business systems and processes.

Quick comprehension and the ability to analyze and synthesize data from reputable sources.

Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Languages: German (C2), English (business fluent).
