Grant Thornton’s Deal Advisory practice has a leading reputation for providing innovative, objective, value-added advice to our clients, and an enviable record for successfully completing transactions.

Our team have had another outstanding year in 2024.  We retained our position as the No.1 adviser in Northern Ireland according to Experian’s deal volume league tables.  We successfully advised on and completed some of the largest transactions in the region, and have led the way in the fast growing area of Employee Ownership Trust transactions.  We are seeing and involved in an increasing number of private equity deals and we expect this trend to continue.

It is an incredibly exciting time for the firm as a whole.  We very recently agreed a merger with Grant Thornton USA in a deal backed by New Mountain Capital, the first of the large firms to do this.  It will be transformational and create massive opportunities for our staff and teams.
