Job Title:DCS Engineer
Summary:1. To Operate DCS and lead the shift production activities in the areas of EHS, quality, production in coordination with Team members, and cross functional team
Responsibilities Include:
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for safe start up, shutdown and operation of the DCS system to ensure all production lines delivers Safe, quality product and schedule attainment in shifts
- Monitor & Control the usage of raw materials, chemicals and other plant utilities effectively to an optimum level in safe manner
- To communicate effectively with the shop floor team and Coordinating with shift cross-functional teams for all the maintenance activities are executed as per plan.
- Ensure and Adhere with all Company EHS Policies, standards and approved operating procedures while performing the tasks & duties in shift operation
- Support the continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Productivity etc.
- Achieve zero EHS incidents in shift
- Schedule attainment- Plan vs actual
- Delivering quality product
- Yield & Batch cycle times
- Achieve defined productivity targets
- Zero noncompliance in QC& EHS requirements
Competencies
- Experience in handling DCS controls in Batch /Continuous process Industries
- Strong decision-making ability to handle normal and abnormal operation of the Plant.
- Manpower management
- Good at planning & coordinating
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and SAP
- Good communication and co ordination
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Chemical engineering with 2-4 years experience or Diploma in Chemical engineering with 6-8 years of relevant experience
