Responsible for administration and enforcement of all company policies and procedures regarding Human Resources.
Duties include:
(1) implementing guidelines and programs to ensure a quality relationship between management and team-member;
(2) ensuring that all team-member performance reviews and merit increases are satisfactorily completed in a timely manner;
(3) managing new hire orientation and benefits open enrollment;
(4) tracking leaves of absence, attendance and corrective actions in accordance with company policy;
(5) overseeing the execution and transmission of payroll on a weekly basis as well as the resolution of any payroll issues;
(6) directing the communication and coordination of information to and from the distribution center and Home Office;
(7) updating personnel profiles with any changes and
(8) managing and monitoring all training programs to ensure they completed on time.
Responsible for the administration and enforcement of Human Resources policies and procedures. Provide the necessary guidelines and programs to promote communication and team building among managers and team members. Daily interaction with management/team-members to build and reinforce a positive environment. Ensure that all team-member performance reviews are satisfactorily completed and merit increases are processed in a timely manner. Oversee new hire orientations, benefits briefings, monthly meetings and reward and recognition programs. Maintain and update all team-members' records to ensure accuracy. Oversee tracking of leaves of absence, workers compensation and disability programs, along with daily attendance. Responsible for the communication of human resource information to distribution center and Home Office personnel. Build and maintain a strong communication network through daily interaction with team-members and management. Oversee the execution and transmission of payroll on a weekly basis. Monitor and resolve all payroll issues in a timely manner. Obtain temporary team-members as needed to meet workload requirements. Manage and monitor training programs, retention and DC supplies. Actively engage in work areas on a regular basis to meet with the Managers and Team Members.
Requirements
Minimum Education- Associates Degree
Preferred Education- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Experience- 3-5 years in an HR related role, management skills, Experience with working in a Supply Chain/ Distribution environment, Excellent communication and leadership skills, Willingness and ability to travel at least 25% of the time, Bilingual preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise, and dust.
Ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for up to 8 hours a day
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $67,500.00.
