POSITION: Data/Solutions Architect - Alta Petens
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Data/Solutions Architect - Alta Petens with the following duties: Collaborate with various teams to design and implement data service solutions optimized for target environments; Lead the development and maintenance of complex data systems in line with architecture goals; Design optimal data architecture and integration solutions with input from analysts and engineers; Implement data architecture guidelines, standards, and processes; Educate and mentor team members on best practices and standards; Analyze data relationships, patterns, and trends to meet business requirements; Ensure technology solutions align with data architecture principles; Manage data life cycle activities and develop business solutions; Provide technical leadership for data technologies and strategic direction across the enterprise. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 8 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Design and develop Data Architecture, Solution Architecture; Manage Technical Delivery and Vendors; Utilize AWS Cloud Technologies such as Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Amazon EMR, and Amazon Redshift; Develop visualizations in QlikView, Tableau, OBIEE & MicroStrategy for business intelligence and analytics; Design data models using Erwin; Implement data marts and data integration using Informatica, DataStage & Pentaho; Manage Technical Delivery and Project Management for OSS applications; Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents; Implement Mycom (OSI) NetExpert solutions; Utilize Informix 4GL and Informix databases.
