What you’ll achieve
As a Data Base Analyst Associate you will be part of our highly successful customer support team, utilizing your skills in the support and enhancement of our market leading software applications for the hospital and healthcare environment.
Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.
You will:
- play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, performance, security, and integrity of our Oracle database environment and WebLogic servers.
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases and WebLogic applications
- Perform ongoing database & application server administration tasks including user and schema management, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring and optimization.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database & application server issues.
- Install and configure various interfaces with 3rd party applications.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:Essential Requirements
- Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements.
- Automate database administration tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PL/SQL, shell scripting).
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Oracle Database technologies and best practices.
- Document procedures and configurations.
- Work collaboratively with developers and other IT staff to ensure a seamless and efficient application lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Proven experience in all aspects of Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, security, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of Oracle SQL (PL/SQL preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Database options such as RAC, Data Guard, and Partitioning.
- Experience with database automation tools.
- Experience with cloud-based deployments of Oracle Database.
- Experience with DevOps principles and tools.
