Job Description
The Data Visualization Lead plans, directs, manages and implements data visualization solutions to support business management dashboards. This role ensures alignment of the work with stakeholder requirements, and pulls in resources from supporting groups as necessary. The Data Visualization Lead is a single point of accountability for all data visualization activities.

As a Data Visualization Manager within our analytics team, you will plan, direct, manage, and implement data visualization solutions to support business management dashboards. You will ensure alignment of the work with stakeholder requirements, and pull in resources from supporting groups as necessary. You will be a single point of accountability for all data visualization activities, leveraging prepared datasets to build graphical visualizations and programming decision-support dashboards inside of business intelligence tools. This role provides an opportunity to lead analytics projects, manage a team, and support production dashboard applications through enterprise-approved processes and controls.
Job responsibilities:
- Leverage prepared datasets to build graphical visualizations and programing decision-support dashboards inside of business intelligence tools
- Analyzing datasets, building data workflows, writing queries to obtain data required for visualization
- Meeting with stakeholders to collect requirements, review work, conduct training etc.
- Leading analytics projects to deliver decision support tools and dashboards for business stakeholders
- Managing a team including setting goals, conducting performance check-ins, evaluating talent
- Support production dashboard applications through enterprise-approved processes and controls
- Providing software and tool training and ongoing professional development
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Generally, 6+ years of related experience
- Experience with Tableau and Alteryx software
- Experience working with a variety of databases using SQL, or reporting tools
- Experience using business intelligence tools to build reports and dashboards
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile
- Demonstrated ability leveraging data to support business decision-making
- Demonstrate superior judgment to mitigate risk, and fosters an environment where risk/control issues are escalated and trends are anticipated and identified
- Build a cohesive team through strong communication, team involvement, and strong leadership
- Communicate effectively with Senior leaders to enable collaboration, decision-making, and transparency
- Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated strong ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written) with relevant stakeholders to gain buy-in
