As a Data Mgmt Specialist, your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Gather and enter data from one or multiple sources to compile into a meaningful report or database from which due diligence or other research or action can be accomplished.
  • Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of both input and output data by visual examination and/or balances to control figures and ensure satisfactory conditions of data input and output.
  • Resolve discrepancies in data, forms or missing information.
  • work with data owners to correct data errors and identify necessary workflow and/or systems changes.
  • Perform data analysis, testing and validation
  • Design and execute test cases to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data based on user and/or system requirements.
  • Perform analysis of data from various data sources needed to meet business requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate test documentation.
  • Work with scrum masters, product owners and agile development teams to ensure solutions are delivered in a timely manner in accordance with business expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with business and IT partners.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Company's data warehouse environment.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business information data sources and business rules.
  • Flexibility to overlap with US hours until 11 AM EST.

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's degree (Business or related discipline) and 1 to 3 years of analytical or business consulting experience
  • Significant experience writing and editing SQL queries, or with other relational database tools such as Apache Groovy
  • Proven experience in capturing and documenting test plans, test cases and test results related to system enhancements, maintenance and new functionality requests.
  • Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's degree and 3+ years of analytical or business consulting experience
  • 3+ year of experience with Access/Excel database (VLookups, Pivot Tables, Basic Logic)

The Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance or financial services industry
  • Experience working in data warehouse and cloud environment
  • Experience with data validation tools
  • Comfortable working in an agile development environment
  • 5+ years in an analytical or business consulting
  • Experience with MicroStrategy or Alteryx
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
