As an Associate in the Data Solution Operations team, you will monitor and deliver data files and products to clients daily. You will work closely with various teams to identify and resolve operational or technical challenges, ensuring seamless service delivery. This role offers you the chance to support data mining and analytics, create governance frameworks, and utilize advanced technologies to enhance business processes.
Job responsibilities:

  • Monitor files to ensure each dataset and product is delivered to end user and/or client
  • Manage business as usual exceptions, identifies root cause teams and works closely with appropriate teams to resolve exceptions
  • Work directly with Technology, Product Owners and Source Teams to identify and implement strategic solutions
  • Support data mining and analytics to help define process flow and best practices
  • Create the ongoing governance and controls for business as usual processes
  • Create and produces meaningful metrics reporting to share with senior audiences
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to derive meaningful insights
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to support data-driven decision-making
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across various teams to drive exception resolution
  • Utilize machine learning and artificial intelligence into analysis and business as usual procedures


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting, Collateral, Custody, Sustainable Investing, Reference Data, or Middle Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in using applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook for documentation, data analysis, presentations, and communication
  • Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in tools like Excel, Visio, SQL, Alteryx, querying databases & Confluence


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Knowledge of Tableau
  • Knowledge of Python/Jupyter Notebook
  • Knowledge/use of Collibra (previously OWL DQ)
  • Experience working in data management at an Asset Manager firm
  • Fluency in Japanese will be an advantage to communicate and deal with clients in/from Japan
