As a Data Scientist at 700Apps, you will be at the forefront of turning data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will analyze large datasets to develop predictive models and leverage machine learning algorithms to extract valuable information. Your role will bridge the gap between data analysis and strategic planning, ensuring that our initiatives are data-driven and optimized for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex datasets to uncover trends and patterns that inform business strategies.
- Model Development: Design and implement predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems and enhance decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, marketing, and IT, to understand their data needs and provide analytical solutions.
- Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical methods to validate models and ensure their robustness and applicability.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest data science methodologies, tools, and technologies, continuously improving our data practices.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data processes, methodologies, and analysis results to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in data science or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python or R, for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
