Position Overview:
We are looking for a Data Scientist who has strong analytical skills and can leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques to solve complex business problems. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights from large datasets, optimize processes, and drive innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Processing:
- Collaborate with data engineers to source, integrate, and prepare data for analysis.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency for modeling and reporting.
- Advanced Analytics and Modeling:
- Perform statistical analysis to resolve business problems.
- Build and validate predictive models using machine learning and statistical techniques
- Data Interpretation and Strategy:
- Translate raw data and model outputs into actionable business strategies.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify drivers of key trends.
- Tool Development and Automation:
- Build and deploy data science tools and automated workflows for scalable solutions.
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate tools into existing systems.
- Visualization and Storytelling:
- Design intuitive dashboards and reports to showcase findings.
- Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest data science methodologies and tools.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies to improve analytics capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Expertise in SQL and working knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, dbt, Polytomic, etc.).
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Experience working with large datasets and big data tools
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a data science or related role.
- Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions.
Salary Range
$160,000 – 176,000 annually

HeyGen considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal equity, as well as location, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
