As a Data Scientist Analyst within the Data and Analytics team, you will be a key member of the Auto Marketing Analytics division. You will work closely with the Marketing team to deliver insights and perform strategic analytics for the marketers. Additionally, you will be responsible for key reporting items that reach the CEO level.
Job responsibilities
- Create data points using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.
- Rationalize complex normalized data sets to allow for ease of cross-organizational consumption.
- Translate data into meaningful insights and present a compelling story to stakeholders for decision-making.
- Bring experience in the production, optimization, and automation of recurrent reports.
- Analyze marketing data to understand customer behavior and trends across different channels.
- Monitor and assess the impact of key marketing OKRs on the business.
- Take ownership of key marketing reports to help strategize for the business.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum of 2 years of analytics experience.
- Strong SQL/Python skills with the ability to pull data using advanced functions in an enterprise-scale database environment (e.g., Teradata, Hadoop, AWS).
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to complete projects/tasks independently.
- Experience with data visualization techniques for analysis and presentation.
- Ability to explain and convert complex concepts into digestible information for audiences of varying expertise levels.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology, or finance.
- Intermediate knowledge of machine learning and statistics.
- Basic skills with JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and tools (e.g., AWS, Snowflake).
