Our Data Reporting Specialists play an important role at Blue Cross of Idaho, creating reports based on the needs of external and internal customers. Leverage internal processes and controls to ensure the reporting and data outputs are produced in a consistent, accurate, and timely format. Provide training and support for end users and assist users in leveraging self-service data and information available. Partner internally to drive automation and self-service capabilities.
This Data Reporting Specialist I position will report to the Manager Healthcare Economics.
We're looking for a Data Reporting Specialist I with:
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)
- Ability to problem solve and critically think (interpret and deliver on the client's true needs).
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of all reports delivered.
- Provide issue support for internal or external facing queries and reports.
- Evaluates existing processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Explain and provide information to analytics teams with enterprise data requirements.
- Participates in and provides support for enterprise-wide data initiatives and data management projects.
- Collaborates and participates in cross-departmental and cross-functional data teams.
- Make proficient use of spreadsheets (Excel), programming languages (SQL, Python, etc.), and other relevant software to capture and manipulate data.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Your day may look like:
- Produce ad-hoc and reoccurring reports.
- Build and maintain documents around policies, procedures, business requirements.
- Make recommendations for driving innovation.
- Collaborate with internal business partners including (IT, Account Management, Client Analytics, etc.).
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $25.55 to $35.77. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance.
The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, internal equity, geography, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
