A our Data Quality Manager, you will work with internal partners and external sources to develop the DQM processes for our UK business ensuring they deliver to the Chief Data Office strategic standards and requirements
What you’ll do
-
Develop and maintain understanding of the data needs inherent in the business strategies of a business unit: what data we have, what data we need, how we need to manage our data to maximize its value and reliability over time, and how we can (and cannot) use it to generate value and competitive advantage

Work with data product owners to develop a cohesive data strategy, coupled with business unit objectives

Organize forums and routines needed to align data, IT, product, and analytics teams, shares best practices and offers up alternative solutions when appropriate

Establish plans and routines, and manage data capabilities, that support execution of the data strategy

Identify and share data use cases and practices across businesses and/or data products
-
Evangelize and train teams on data strategy and the supporting roles, responsibilities, operating model, and capabilities
What experience you need
-
Bachelor's degree in related discipline required; Master's degree preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered

Strong analysis, product management, and/or consulting experience regarding data, including multiple areas of financial services data
-
Strong experience with SQL and BI Tools (Looker, Tableau, BigQuery, etc.), data management and/or cloud data management, product and work management tools (Aha!, Jira, ServiceNow), written and oral presentation, and data governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, etc.)

Experience with Agile and other project management methods

Cloud certification and strong experience with cloud and on prem technologies, structured and unstructured data, streaming and reposed data

Experience leading development/improvement and implementation of business strategy, operating models, and business capabilities (people, process, and IT)

Experience documenting and communicating guidelines, standards, and frameworks

Experience in analytics and AI solutions
