Data Processing Developer

We are seeking an experienced Data Processing Developer (DPD). In this role, you will be architecting new data processing and presentation systems for HTC (and greater FBI) use, creating custom automated data flows to make SEU-specific data human readable, integrating new data flows with existing FBI data repositories, and devising/advocating for transition plans to move from existing systems to long-term, more sustainable solutions. 

This role resides in our Cyber department and reports to our Program Manager. This position is in the Ft. Meade, MD area with a 10% travel requirement.

SIXGEN supports cyber and intelligence missions by serving government and commercial organizations as they overcome global cybersecurity challenges. Our highly skilled operators conduct research and assessments based on real-world threats. We simulate adversaries and malicious actors to report details and actionable findings on critical assets and infrastructures. Our program planners advise mission owners to bring rapid solutions to intelligence mission leaders. Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in similar roles. 
• Experience with cloud computing/virtualization technology.
• Strong programming skills. 
• Experience architecting, creating, and maintaining databases.
• Familiarity with the following languages: Python, perl, bash, MySQL, MSSQL, Django.
• Ability to work independently and to create flexible solutions based on vague nontechnical customer requirements.

• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with ability to obtain polygraph. 
• Travel: Yes. Travel to the office will be required for meetings and collaboration. Estimated 10% or more

At SIXGEN, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The anticipated salary range for this role is $170,000 - $185,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our compensation philosophy, which takes into account various factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, skills, LCATs rates and position level, and market competitiveness. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for other forms of compensation to include our growth incentive program, incentives and benefits. The final salary offer will be determined after a thorough review of the candidate's background and alignment with the role.
