Job Description

We are looking for a talented Data & Platform Engineer to help the Bank compile and package data into a usable format for various analysis purposes. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with business owners to gather requirements and develop SQL scripts for reporting needs.
• Manage data through ETL pipelines, ensuring integrity and consistency while optimizing performance.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the T24 data model and leverage PostgreSQL for database management.
• Oversee infrastructure and applications, adhering to the Bank's standards and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with development teams, project leaders, and business users.
• Plan and execute system migrations, handle problem resolution, and maintain documentation.
• Implement IT security best practices and ensure system reliability and availability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Specialist or similar role, with extensive expertise in the T24 data model
• Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and TAFJ, with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git)
• In-depth understanding of infrastructure and systems within the domain of responsibility
• Strong knowledge of IT policies, procedures, and security best practices
• Experience with performance tuning tools (API, UXP, JMeter) and data migrations
• Expertise in ETL processes and database management
• Strong project management skills with a track record of end-to-end project delivery
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the banking sector
