Should be proficient with the overall IT landscape, and technologies and should be able to analyze how different technologies integrate.
Working experience in data modeling (Kimball methodologies), Schema design(Star schema, Snowflake schema), and Data Architectures (Vault, Mesh, etc.)
Experience with enterprise data management, Data-warehouse, Data modeling, Business Intelligence, Data integration.
Strong capabilities to review the data models for completeness, quality, and compliance with established architecture standards.
Should be able to compare tools and technologies and recommend a tool or technology.
Solid grasp in metadata (business, technical & operational) maintenance and exposure to data catalog management.
Preferred:
Experience in Databricks Lakehouse architecture with experience using Azure Databricks.
Experience working on File formats (Parquet/ORC/AVRO/Delta/Hudi etc.)
Exposure to using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps
Experience and knowledge on Azure data offerings
