Sample of what you might be doing:
- Support project teams and business partners by creating and managing multiple database environments and cloud environments
- Monitor and troubleshoot databases and tooling
- Provide user access while maintaining security best practices
- Following SDLC for all database and code changes.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members
Requirements:
- 3+ yrs. of professional database development experience.
- 3+ yrs of Python or C# experience.
- Computer Science or related degree
- Detail oriented, with the ability to document processes and procedures
- Experience with at least 2 of: Snowflake, Sql Server, Postgres, Mongo, MySql.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Astronomer/Airflow/Orchestration experience.
Nice to have skills include:
- Experience with AWS or Azure, especially RDS, ECS and EC2.
- CICD workflow experience.
- Familiarity with various data technologies, including Kafka, Matillion, DBT
