Who We're Looking For:
EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Operations Engineer.
In this critical role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our data operations, enabling performance improvements, and building solutions to support the company's business needs. You will be responsible for generating high quality governance models, KPI’s, and alerting for the data operations team. You will be instrumental in the creating a seamless claims processing experience for our clients and members. You will support business users to allow for business continuity.
What You'll Do:
As a Data Operations Engineer, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities; here are a few:

Support the build-out of a Data Operation Management Utility encompassing operations and logging DB, operational analytics, governance scorecards, and performance measures

Develop a deep understanding of the Claims Platform's system architecture and collaborate with Data Engineering and IT teams to design future-ready solutions.

Design and Curate data pipelines to support metadata analysis, monitoring, and alerting.

Act as a liaison between stakeholders and IT teams to facilitate clear communication, provide actionable insights, and increase organizational awareness.

Enable faster, more agile, and proficient issue resolution and risk mitigation processes.

Work closely with teams such as Client Management and Production Support to streamline communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Lead workshops and meetings to gather precise, detailed, and actionable requirements for projects and initiatives.

Work within an Agile framework, managing feature backlogs, grooming user stories, facilitating scrum sessions, and delivering iterative solutions.

Oversee and lead UAT sessions, incorporating feedback to refine and improve solutions.

Analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Ensure that data security standards are consistently applied throughout data and analytics pipelines.

Identify and address gaps in data development and deployment processes to drive efficiency and reliability.
What You Need:

Minimum 8 years of experience in a related field
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline
-
2+ years of Python experience
-
5+ years of RDBMS experience
-
2+ years of Azure Databricks or ADF
-
Familiarity with pharmacy, health insurance, claims processing preferred
-
Experience with regulated data controls such as GDPR, HIPAA, PHI, PII, etc.

5+ years’ experience data analysis
-
An analytical thinker with a knack for problem-solving
-
A flair for working with tools/software, e.g., SQL, GIT, DevOps etc.

Ownership of process, preferred

Strong time management and critical thinking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
