TITLE: Data Operations Associate
LOCATION: London or Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid)
SALARY: $85,000 - $105,000 base salary + bonus (based on Jacksonville, will be adjusted for London)
The Role:
As a member of our Canoe Connect Business Team, the Data Operations Associate will work closely with our offshore and onshore teammates to help oversee complex processes which impact Canoe's ability to sustain our document collection offering continuously. If you have a proven track record of driving continuous improvement, owning processes and driving process changes, you would be a great fit for this role!
What You'll Do:
- Leverage Canoe's technology and data operations team to collect and deliver all of Canoe's clients' documents quickly and completely
- Lead process changes and enhancements by documenting, driving and collaborating with team members to execute
- Act as the primary point of contact with offshore and onshore teammates by providing regular reporting, facilitating meetings
- Help address operational issues, create awareness of challenges and troubleshoot as required.
- Collaborate with the Product team to develop long-term robust software solutions which address manual operations challenges
- Act as the subject matter expert for questions relating to data completeness and monitor execution of processes and best practices among team members.
- Collaborate with client facing teams to understand and document client challenges to help improve product and operational offering
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of professional experience working in a high volume, high velocity operations environment
- Experience working with large datasets to understand and provide data driven recommendations
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and tasks
- Experience collaborating with different teams to help drive towards technical and operational solutions to ongoing challenges
- Enjoys working in a collaborative environment, sharing/adopting best practices, and supporting teammates
- Analytical, data-driven self-starter that is detailed-oriented and resourceful
- Problem-solver who thrives in diving into details when required
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Excel and SQL
- Proven ability to grasp new concepts quickly and successfully
- Proven ability to understand the implications of issues and process changes beyond the immediately seen impact.
- Experience working and effectively communicating with global teams across timezones.Preferred:
- Prior experience as an Operations Associate or Business Analyst in Financial Technology
- Proficient in scripting languages such as SQL and Python
- Prior experience building out and maintaining cross functional operational processes
- Interest in Financial Technology or Software
- Familiarity with Alternative Investments reporting
