What you’ll do:
- Extract, structure and analyze data to construct the foundation of a clinical database in an effort to improve matching patients to clinical trials and/or patient identification for oncology care gaps
- Work with multiple data sources, including EMR databases, to extract and operationalize relevant information
- Create and combine various data sources to derive insights using SQL and dbt
- Translate business needs into operational processes and understand the necessary technical and operational requirements
- Consistently evaluate and improve the trial-matching and/or care gap processes including maintaining documentation and the organization of documents and templates
- Maintain highest quality standard through rigorous QA process to identify and correct technical mistakes and inconsistencies in results
- Create dashboards using data visualization tools to improve and streamline reporting related to business operations
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or healthcare related field
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- SQL Proficiency
- Experience with dbt preferred
- Experience with Looker or other data visualization tools
- Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to work in an agile and expanding team environment
