Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data migration strategies and plans in alignment with project requirements
- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources using ETL tools
- Ensure data quality and accuracy throughout the migration process
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve any data migration issues
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices
- Document data migration processes, including procedures and guidelines
- Conduct data migration testing and validation to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience in data migration, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools and methodologies, such as Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, or Talend
- Proficiency in SQL and database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar)
- Familiarity with data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations is a plus
