About the Job:
As a Data Marketplace Librarian, you will be responsible for understanding the data elements and metadata to help and search before procure. You will work closely with our Business & commercial functions and EDA teams to help implement the data procurement governance model
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the data governance implementation across the organization.
- Understand the data domain specific features to support the search
- Establish key data quality, ethics and compliance rules to help accelerate the procurement process after search
- Provide guidance and best practices to Business function/ data purchasers across the organization
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create data extracts, dashboards, and visualizations
- Conduct training and provide support for Data & Data service users within the organization.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies and standards within the Market place environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience working with Procurement, including at least 3 years with procurement tools and its implementation.
- Proficiency in tools and technologies for the procurement governance implementation
- Good understanding of data acquisition concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
