We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Data Engineer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize DBT models for data transformations.
- Work with Snowflake to manage and optimize cloud-based data storage.
- Implement robust data modeling practices to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for large-scale data transformations.
- Automate data workflows and integrations.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand transformation needs.
Requirements:
- DBT Expertise: Strong experience in developing and maintaining DBT models.
- SQL Skills: Advanced SQL proficiency for data transformations.
- Snowflake: Experience in managing and optimizing data storage in Snowflake.
- Git Version Control: Familiarity with Git for managing DBT model versioning.
- Proficiency with AI Productivity Enablement tools: Experience using AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
Optional Requirements:
- Azure Cloud Services: Basic understanding of Azure data-related services.
- API Development: Experience integrating external data sources via APIs.
- CI/CD for Data Pipelines: Some familiarity with automating DBT deployments.
