We have an exciting opportunity to join P&G as an External Reporting Data Engineer and be part of a team of IT professionals that is harnessing groundbreaking technology to transform consumer data into actionable insights. Key responsibilities

  • Skillfuly design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrating key consumer data from various sources, such as SAP and Coupa.

  • Manage and optimize databases, data warehouses, and create insightful data models using Erwin data modeller and draw.io.

  • Champion our data quality and integrity through conducting regular checks, monitoring, and documentation.

  • Optimize data systems for performance and scalability and maintain operational efficiency.

  • Implement data governance practices, and design innovative reports based on the requirements of our team.

This role is part of the SAP External Reporting organization, which drives global solutions in the Financial and Tax Reporting space. Our team has a presence in Manila, Newcastle and San Jose. This available role is based in our Cobalt Park Office in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field

  • Experience as a data engineer or in an IT role with relevant skills (e.g., SAP FI Module experience) with a passion to learn about data and analytics.

  • Data visualization experience: PowerBI or similar.

  • Experience in Python & SQL

What success looks like

  • Pioneer how P&G learn from and work with data from within the External Reporting Databricks environment.

  • Acquire mastery in front-end and back-end report designs, championing the usability of our data systems. 

  • Network with our variety of talented experts, including Data Architects and Product Owners, to drive best data-mapping practices.
