What you are going to do
As a Data Engineer, you will make an essential contribution to the transformation into a digital and data-driven insurance company and intermediary. You will work on continuous data delivery from our Data Platform. You will collect, structure, and integrate data from insurance and customers on our Data Platform, which is a “logical data warehouse” using new and innovative techniques from Azure and the data virtualization tool Denodo. Data comes from internal AAV applications, departments, and external data suppliers, with whom you will regularly coordinate. After coordination, you will translate all source data into qualitative and understandable datasets to offer them via the Data Platform.
As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a Data Squad and use an Agile way of working. Together with your fellow Data Engineer, you will work on datasets that BI Experts and ML Engineers in the same Data Squad use for dashboards and AI/ML models that add direct value for our customers and colleagues.

Who you are

- You have completed a relevant education like Computer Science or Data Science and knowledge of data modeling
- You have experience with SQL tools and data tools like Python, R. Experience as a Data Engineer with Azure and Denodo is a plus
